What is in store for Donald Trump in 2019? How will dynamics change with Democrats in charge of the House? Is America still a world leader? Can we come together and overcome partisan divisions?  

On January 16 at 7pm, Walt Whitman High School will host a panel discussion entitled:

This is America: Political Uncertainty and a Divided Nation 

We have an all-star list of panelists including: 

David Leonhardt (NY Times)

Sarah Binder (GWU/Brookings Institution)

Steven Olikara (Millenial Action Project)

Muni Jensen (El Pais)

Aaron Zitner (Wall Street Journal)

Hugo Gurdon (Washington Examiner)

The event is January 16th from 7- 8:45 pm in the Whitman auditorium.  This is a fundraiser for the Speech and Debate team.  Tickets are $10 for adults (plus service fee if purchased here). Students are FREE and don't need tickets.
